Lyal Strickland is one of Springfield's great acoustic solo musicians who may also be one of the most under rated local artists this year. If you missed Lyal at the fair, or havent been to one of his shows in the downtown area then your missing out on a very skilled guitarist and writer. His latest CD was recorded live at Well Fed Heads and High Strung Music. It is a well put together compilation of songs all written by Lyal. This is an album that I am glad to be in possession of. I will certainly keep this CD in the truck, as I can always use a CD to listen to in those heavy trafic days, as well as something to listen to to keep my head in the right place.
